Inez Hallewas d

SCCN Secretary Inez Hallewas earned her degree in management for organizational strategy, development and innovation in Holland.  Her graduate certificates were in sociology where she studied organizational psychology, group dynamics, motivation and leadership.

Over the years, she has worked as an advisor and manager for non-profit social welfare groups; focusing on education programs for underprivileged children, social re-acclimation for juvenile offenders, and youth care programs aimed at improving personal development in children, adolescents, and young adults.  In the commercial sector she worked as a corporate advisor engaged in arbitrating between governments (both local and national), and private organizations.

She brought her skills to bear for the Curacao Dolphin Academy in early 2008, where she currently serves as Operational Manager.  Inez is a committed professional with the drive, intensity, and discipline necessary to keep SCCN truly “networking” and moving the foundation forward.

“My forte has always been analyzing social systems – studying their interconnectedness and interdependence . . . and trying to find ways of resolving conflicts within these systems.  Likewise, as I became more aware of the complexities and the symbiosis of nature’s “systems” I began caring more for the sea and became eager to learn more about our interactions with it . . . and how we might coexist in a positive way.
